Ethan has tutored PreK through 12th grade students for four years, at every level of math from grade-level work to AP Calculus, and manages the curricula of more than 400 students at a math center based on their skill gaps and proficiencies. Lessons are built on scaffolding and guiding questions, so students learn to think and solve problems on their own.
Lauren is pursuing a career in medicine, with the long-term goal of becoming a physician, and tutors to help students build confidence in subjects that can feel intimidating at first. Lessons are patient, encouraging, and highly individualized: first the reasoning behind a concept, then explanations and practice adapted to how each student learns best, so students become independent, confident problem-solvers rather than memorizing steps.
